The project combines paleoclimate reconstruction, ice sheet modeling, and sea level analyses to understand conditions during the last interglacial (LIG) period, 125,000 years ago.</br># PhD position at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks with Andy Aschwanden (aaschwanden@alaska.edu) on ice sheet and Earth system modeling.</br># PhD position at the University of Florida with Oana Dumitru (odumitru@ufl.edu) on U-Th geochronology and sedimentology.</br># PhD position at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Columbia University with Jerry McManus (jmcmanus@ldeo.columbia.edu) on paleoclimate/paleoceanographic reconstructions.</br># PhD position at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Columbia University with Jacky Austermann (jackya@ldeo.columbia.edu) on modeling sea level and glacial isostatic adjustment.</br># PhD or postdoc position at the University of Victoria, Canada, with Blake Dyer (blakedyer@uvic.ca) on sedimentology and statistical modeling.</br></br></br></br>Interested candidates are encouraged to reach out to potential advisors for more information on each position.
