The River Engineering group within Idaho P … The River Engineering group within Idaho Power Company is looking to hiring for two permanent, full-time positions based in Boise, Idaho. Idaho Power is one of the most hydropower-intensive privately owned utilities in the country with 17 hydroelectric projects in the Snake River Basin. The River Engineering Group supports the water resource engineering needs associated with these projects and has developed expertise in various types of hydraulic modeling, multibeam sonar surveying, drone-based photogrammetry, traditional surveying, river restoration, and generally having fun on jetboats on the river. The jobs are a perfect mix of fieldwork and office analysis working on interesting projects often on the cutting edge of technology that are evolving through time. Every day is different and every year is better than the last.
