Professor Valeriy Ivanov with … Greetings,</br></br></br>Professor Valeriy Ivanov with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan is looking for a postdoc to work on a new project related to the development of modeling tools for stormwater management issues in an urbanized watershed system.</br></br></br>Research independence, strong written and oral and communication skills, and ability to work with a diverse team of collaborators are needed. Technical skill required is experience with physical hydrologic/fluid dynamics modeling; familiarity with climate projections and/or remote sensing datasets, model calibration, uncertainty quantification, and high-performance computing is desirable.</br></br></br>The ideal start date would be December 2020 – January 2021. The appointment is for one year with a possibility of extension, contingent on performance and fund availability.
