Greetings,


Professor Valeriy Ivanov with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan is looking for a postdoc to work on a new project related to the development of modeling tools for stormwater management issues in an urbanized watershed system.


Research independence, strong written and oral and communication skills, and ability to work with a diverse team of collaborators are needed. Technical skill required is experience with physical hydrologic/fluid dynamics modeling; familiarity with climate projections and/or remote sensing datasets, model calibration, uncertainty quantification, and high-performance computing is desirable.


The ideal start date would be December 2020 – January 2021. The appointment is for one year with a possibility of extension, contingent on performance and fund availability. Remote work option is available.
