Utah State University's Geoscience Departm … Utah State University's Geoscience Department seeks applicants for a nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in geology at the USU Eastern campus in Price, UT, with a start date of August 1, 2020. We seek candidates who conduct innovative teaching at the introductory level and geoscience research in areas that may include but is not limited to: geoscience education, sedimentology, stratigraphy, paleontology, paleoecology, surface processes, and economic geology.</br></br></br>Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding potential for excellence in teaching through multiple delivery modes to statewide students, as well as the potential for a research program that complements our Department’s current strengths, takes advantage of the position location in central Utah, and involves undergraduate and graduate students.
