We are looking for strong students to begi … We are looking for strong students to begin a PhD with a focus on the development of novel AI/ML models for hydrological prediction or optimization of water distribution systems. Positions will be fully-funded for four years.</br></br>Specific details about the project will be discussed with candidates based on their background and interests. Skills and experience sought for the positions include:</br>* Strong familiarity and demonstrated experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras and other similar libraries</br>* Previous experience with common deep learning architectures (LSTM, Transformers, CNN)</br>* Probabilistic methods</br>* Reinforcement learning</br>* Physics-informed machine learning (would be ideal, but not necessary)</br></br>Qualifications include a Masters in the areas of civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or a related field.</br></br>We are looking to fill one of the positions immediately; thus, preference will be given to qualified Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents.
