The Institute for Earth Observation of Eur … The Institute for Earth Observation of Eurac Research is looking for a Researcher (m/f) in the field of earth observation and land surface modelling for water resources and vegetation monitoring over the Alps</br></br></br>'''Main topic:''' Evapotranspiration modelling over the Alps </br></br>The position is primarily intended for postdocs with a background in Environmental Engineering, Physics, Hydrology, Meteorology, or related disciplines. However, we will also consider applications from highly motivated and talented postgraduates.</br></br>The position is fully funded by the Interreg Alpine Space project A-DROP. A-DROP (Alpine DROught Prediction) is a 3-year project funded by the Interreg programme on Priority 1: Climate resilient and green Alpine region. The project’s overall objective is to equip water managers at policy and operational levels with drought risk management tools and data to address increasing water scarcity due to climate change.
