Relevant research areas may include theoretical, experimental and/or field-based hydraulic engineering, evaluation and assessment of hydraulic structures, evaluation of climate change impacts on the sustainability and resilience of water related civil infrastructure, and physical and/or numerical modeling of complex hydraulic structures and systems. The Department is particularly interested in candidates with experience and/or interest in physical hydraulic modeling. The Engineering Research Center on CSU’s Foothills Campus houses one of the largest hydraulics laboratories in the United States. CSU is a land-grant institution with a strong commitment to research and scholarly activities that impact society and address global problems.
