In the framework of the “Water Risks” curr … In the framework of the “Water Risks” curriculum of the National PhD School "Defence against natural hazards and ecological transition of the built environment", we are looking for motivated PhD candidates to work on the topic “Resilience of critical water drainage infrastructures against urban flood hazard”. </br></br></br>The successful candidate will investigate and develop integrated hydrologic and hydraulic methods to quantify the residual flood hazard affecting the urban areas impacted by intense rainstorms, heading to the consequent adaptation of the Civil Protection plans. A plus for the successful candidature is a strong background in Hydrology and in computational hydraulics.
