the hydrology group at the department of C … the hydrology group at the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Florence (Italy) is looking for two researchers (m/f/d) for three years, fully funded by the NextGeneration EU program for the RETURN Project (PE3) on "Environmental, natural and anthropogenic risks". The researcher will be involved in the themes of defence against floods and other hazards that interact with hydrological phenomena. The activities will be aimed at studying methods and models for risk assessment and management in socio-ecological systems, including in a multidisciplinary and multi-hazard framework. The selected candidates will work under the activities of the project spokes "Water", " Urban and metropolitan settlements" and "Communities' resilience to risks: social, economic, legal and cultural dimensions".
