I am recruiting a funded PhD student to jo … I am recruiting a funded PhD student to join the Surface Processes group at the Colorado School of Mines in Summer or Fall of 2023. The student will join an NSF-funded project examining the impacts of climate-driven shifts in wildfire frequency on hillslope sediment transport processes and long term erosion rates. The project will use a combination of short-lived radionuclide analysis, high-resolution topographic data and physical measurements to calibrate probabilistic estimates of postfire erosion under changing wildfire conditions.
