The full job description is at www.sujobopps.com/postings/94570, but here is an excerpt with some key points:</br></br>We seek to hire a broadly trained physical geographer whose research and teaching focus on the response of landscape (geomorphic and/or ecological) dynamics to climate change, and who can make substantial technical and theoretical contributions that complement existing areas of expertise at Syracuse University. Candidates should demonstrate clear evidence of potential for a strong research program and successful teaching, as well as a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are particularly interested in hiring an environmental scientist who incorporates geospatial technologies (GIS, remote sensing, UAVs), modeling, and/or analysis of large datasets (i.e., 'big data') into their research and teaching.
