I am recruiting a Master's Student (possibI am recruiting a Master's Student (possibly to switch to a Ph.D. in the future) at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, Horn Point Laboratory starting preferably in Spring 2022.</br></br></br>The student will work on a project funded by NOAA - Marine Debris program. The overarching goal is to develop a budget of plastic debris input and retention into wetlands in the Choptank River (MD) through field measurements and numerical modeling (Delft3D).</br></br>I am looking for a highly motivated student with a background in wetland morphodynamics, coastal geomorphology, or related fields. The candidate will have experience in numerical methods and programming (Matlab, Python, R).</br>Applicants are encouraged to contact the PI of the project (William Nardin, wnardin@umces.edu) before applying and include a CV.
