Outcomes from this research will be critical to inform post-fire land management strategies to expedite recovery of soil health and promote resilient forests. Students could pursue their degree either through the Sustainable Forest Management Program (https://ferm.forestry.oregonstate.edu/graduate-programs) or the Water Resources Graduate Program (https://gradwater.oregonstate.edu/).

Qualifications:
* MS (preferred) and BS in Forest Science, Natural Resource Sciences, Geoscience, or related discipline;
* excellent oral and written communication skills;
* field research experience;
* analytical experience with R, Matlab, Python, QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar;
* desire to integrate knowledge across disciplines;
* a commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusivity

We, in the Bladon FEWS Lab, are strongly committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
