The position is effective for the</br>Fall 2022 semester at the Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will</br>have completed the PhD by August 16, 2022.</br></br></br>The desired concentration of study centers on climate change and/or internal</br>modes of climate variability that operate at inter-annual to millennial time scales</br>and at synoptic to planetary spatial scales. Study areas could also involve related</br>biogeochemical cycles and/or the water cycle. A strong foundation in climate</br>modeling or earth system modeling is preferred, as well as interest or experience</br>with both modern and ancient systems.
