The Catchment Hydrology and Spatial Analys … The Catchment Hydrology and Spatial Analysis lab (http://www.hooriajami.ucr.edu/) at the University of California Riverside (UCR) led by Dr. Hoori Ajami, invites applications from prospective PhD students interested in pursuing research in mountain hydrology and modeling.</br></br></br>Project: The focus of this NSF-funded project is on understanding and quantifying mountain system recharge processes in the Sierra Nevada, California. The project will have a field and modeling components. </br></br></br>Qualifications: Applicants must hold a BS degree in Hydrology, Environmental Sciences/Civil Engineering or related disciplines. Candidates with a MS degree are preferred.</br></br></br>Skills: The ideal candidate would have a strong quantitative background and computer programming skills.
