Research responsibilities include developing a nationally competitive program in quantitative hydrologic analysis and environmental simulation modeling, complementing departmental strengths in soil science, aquatic and terrestrial landscape hydroecology, biogeochemistry, land-atmosphere interactions, restoration ecology, cropping systems, land reclamation, and spatial sciences. The position is responsible for teaching courses that emphasize quantitative analysis and geophysical simulation modeling at undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will participate in high-quality graduate and undergraduate programs, including undergraduate curricular advising, undergraduate research advising, and training of graduate students.
