NCEP data read

Project description

This goal of this project is to parse NCEP global meteorological files and assemble the parsed results into a data frame that can be used to characterize rain-snow threshold curves

Objectives

To use precipitation phase data from the NCEP DS464.0 dataset to characterize continental rain-snow temperature threshold curves

Time-line

Start: Dec 2015, Estimated End: May 2016

Models in use

This data will be analyzed in R
