The PhD will focus on developing tools to model the potential formation and longevity of landslide dams throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, using a combination of field studies and geospatial/numerical modelling.
The ideal candidate will have a background/interest in:
- Geology, Physical Geography, Earth Science or similar
- Geospatial analysis
- Field analysis
- Geomorphological hazards and processes
