Open Source Delft3D released
Deltares announced the release of Delft3D software through its website. CSDMS steering committee member Bert Jagers: “It is a major step to adopt an open-source policy for the Flow, Morphology and Waves modules, it is our invitation to all leading experts to collaborate in development and research using Delft3D”. Delft3D simulates fluid flow and morphological changes at timescales from seconds to years and has been validated for a wide range of applications in rivers, estuaries and tidal basins.
