Open Source Delft3D released
Deltares announced the release of Delft3D software through its website. CSDMS steering committee member Bert Jagers: “It is a major step to adapt an open-source policy for the Flow, Morphology and Waves modules in Delft3D, it is our invitation to all leading experts to collaborate in extending the scientific quality and application of Delft3D”. Delft3D simulates fluid flow and morphological changes at timescales from seconds to years and has been validated for a wide range of applications in rivers, estuaries and tidal basins.
