We are looking for a prospective PhD student in Land Surface Modelling with a focus on forest ecosystems and climate change. This position is part of the collaborative project MW³, funded by WaldKlimaFonds (https://www.waldklimafonds.de/), which aims to develop a forest monitoring system to detect growth responses of important forest ecosystems in Central Europe to climatic extreme events. The PhD position is available from the 1st of January 2024 onwards.
