For our project ‘Drought and flood statistics in regulated catchments (DFStaR)’, which is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), we are looking for a:

GIS specialist who supports the creation of a data set on hydrological extremes and human flow influences in the Alps;
PhD student who quantifies impacts of flow regulation on multivariate characteristics of hydrologic extremes using statistical modeling and machine learning on large datasets
