New web technologies, high performance computing, and cyber-infrastructure have provided the capability to make predictions at a wide range of space and time scales. Emerging informatics tools and cyber-infrastructure systems will be key technological tools to improve modeling and information communication. This session encourages presentations and discussions related to following topics:1. Large scale data set management and sharing2. High performance computing and community modeling3. Information visualization and communication.
