Assistant Professor in sedimentary geology at Colorado College

The Geology Department at Colorado College is searching for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in sedimentary geology to start in August 2024. We seek an individual who uses quantitative methods and the rock record to explore topics of societal relevance. We welcome researchers studying: (1) extreme events, such as abrupt climate transitions, flooding, mass movements, extinction events, etc.; (2) sedimentary and associated responses to tectonic or other external forcings; or (3) carbon cycle through time.
