We are currently setting up a state-of-the-art analog experiment facility at the Institute of Geological Sciences at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, to study the geomorphological and sedimentological evolution of sedimentary systems (especially - but not limited to- rivers and river valleys) in response to rapid climate changes. Within this framework, we seek a Postdoctoral Candidate for time series analysis of topographic and sedimentological data from experimental runs and to support the laboratory setup. We are particularly interested in applying dynamical system models to experimental time series. The position is fully funded for 4 years. Application deadline is September 23rd 2024.
