[[JOB bodytext::We at NYU's Hydrologic Systems Group are again looking for motivated researchers who wish to pursue their postdoctoral work within the broad field of statistical and computational hydrosciences.

While the specific research plan will be drafted after further discussions with the postdoctoral researcher, preferred applicants will have prior research experience related to some of the following topics:

rainfall-runoff processes in natural or urban hydrologic systems
stochastic processes / stochastic differential equations / probabilistic methods
risk-based decision-making/uncertainty analysis
stormwater infrastructure design under uncertainty
nonlinear dynamical systems
physics-informed machine learning for hydrologic applications
hydroclimatic hazards
flood modeling
hydrogeomorphic modeling
