Two PhD studentships in Storm Surge Modeling

The Department of Civil Engineering of Florida International University, located in Miami, Florida, USA, has two fully-funded PhD student positions on modeling of storm surge and coastal flooding using tools such as TELEMAC, CEST and other software. The research will involve urban flooding including roadway infrastructure such as highways, bypasses, and a range of barriers. Expertise in AI/Machine learning is a plus for this position. US citizens, green card holders or students already in the USA will be given preference.
