Discussion page Marine Working Group (WG)
Many of the Marine models listed in the CSDMS model library have not yet been submitted to CSDMS and almost none are yet CSDMS compliant.
To make a model CSDMS compliant requires a little editing to recast it into an Initialize-Run-Finalize (IRF) structure. Information and help with IRF-ing a model can be found under "Model Tools" under the Models tab.
To make CSDMS useful for maring modeling, the working group must make a concerted effort to increase the number of CSDMS compliant marine models in the model library. Toward this end, it would be helpful to get your feedback regarding:
- Listed models that are a priority to make CSDMS compliant.
- Models that should be on the list but are not.
- Models that are on the list and may be valuable to have access to but are unlikely to ever become CSDMS compliant.
