A Hands-On Workshop on GPU-Based Landscape Evolution Modeling
Abstract
This workshop introduces Swiftscape, a CPU/GPU-hybrid landscape evolution library with C++ and Python interfaces that can run hundreds of times faster than previous models. Participants will gain hands-on experience in both interfaces, offering flexibility and accessibility for diverse applications. Special focus will be given to the model's ability to run many simulations in parallel as well as its utility for solving inverse problems.
