Welcome to the CSDMS Human Dimensions Focus Research Group (FRG) page. The Human Dimensions FRG is a research group (currently 243 members), and is additionally co-sponsored by by the AIMS and CoMSES NET. Our goal is to bring together researchers from diverse disciplinary backgrounds to advance global-scale coupled social and biogeophysical modeling and to initiate a dialogue between researchers with the cross-and trans-disciplinary skills for implementing a joint modeling effort that will improve understanding of the bi-directional connections between human activities and global environmental change.
