Yes If above answer is yes Matlab Other visualization software A graphic software is required in order to plot the planform coordinates generated by the model, e.g. gnuplot or Matlab Describe processes represented by the model The model simulates the lateral migration of a meandering rivers, allowing the formation of oxbow lakes and scroll bars which may have a different erosional resistance with respect to the pristine floodplain. Describe key physical parameters and equations The key physical parameters of the model are the aspect ratio deal with hydraulics (geometry of the river cross section, Shields number, grain size) and geomorphology (erodibility of the floodplain surface). The model solves for the equations of Ikeda et al. JFM 1981 and Zolezzi and Seminara JFM 2001. See Bogoni et al. WRR 2017 for details. Describe length scale and resolution constraints The lengths are scaled by the cross section half width of the river, i.e. the lenghts are dimensionless. THus aby kind of river may be potentially simulated. Describe time scale and resolution constraints The time scale is the order of 10-1000 years, since the migration of meandering rivers is usually very slow, like 1 meter/year.
