Statement: Shoreline Transgression & Regression

Abstract: Shoreline Transgression & Regression. This movie shows the relationship between delta building and basin subsidence. The sediment make up of this experiment is fine grained quartz and coal sand. The lighter coal sand moves farther into the basin, acting as a proxy for finer grained sediment in real systems. Key features and events are labeled throughout the movie.
