Describe processes represented by the model	Many 2D flow situation with simple boundary conditions (ie no inflow or outflow). suitable for lock/exchange simulation of gravity/turbidity currents or to study stability properties of stratified flow.
Describe key physical parameters and equations	Incompressible flow equations: Navier-Stokes with Boussinesq approximations. Transport equation to describe the motion of particles (or Salanity or Temperature).
