Sebrian was awarded for his submission: “Modelling Mangrove-Mudflat Dynamics with a Coupled Individual-Based-Hydromorphodynamic Model” that couples Delft3D with a new eco-dynamics model to simulate mangrove population in active coastal accumulation areas. His code base was well-written, with clear doc strings and installation instructions were carefully provided. His work is using CSDMS tools (BMI) and bridges the coastal and ecodynamics domains.
