Welcome to Trondheim, Norway in June 2020! The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) will host the 25th IAHR International Symposium on Ice from 14th to 18th of June.
Changes to the cold climate regions of the world creates challenges related to the state of ice in both fresh and sea water. These challenges relate to fundamental ice processes, engineering aspects of ice and environmental issues in all areas were ice forms. The IAHR ice symposium is focused on presenting and discussing topics related to ice in both fresh and sea water and should provide a venue for addressing current topics in ice engineering and research.
We do invite you all to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in June of 2020 for the 25th IAHR Symposium of Ice, 26 years after the first time the symposium was arranged in Trondheim. The conference will start with an ice breaker on Sunday the 14th of June and end with lunch on Thursday the 18th of June.
