Postdoc Position in Hydrologic and Environmental Modeling

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Water and Environmental Systems Analysis Lab at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. This position will conduct research on the integrated analysis and modeling of urban water and environmental systems, focusing on urban stormwater hydrology, nonpoint source pollution, and human-water dynamics.


Required qualifications:

  1. PhD in civil engineering, environmental science, computer science, or a related field;
  2. Research experience in hydrology, water resources, geospatial analysis, or machine learning;
  3. Excellent skills of scientific writing and communications.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience with urban hydrologic or environmental models;
  2. Experience with socio-environmental analysis using agent-based or individual-based approaches;
  3. Experience with hydrologic or environmental fieldwork.
