The Department of Civil and Urban Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, renewable faculty position in Water Resources Engineering, at the rank of Industry Assistant Professor or Industry Associate Professor, with a start date of September 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in water resources engineering, fluid mechanics, and related disciplines.

Qualifications
Teaching experience with evidence of teaching excellence is required. Applicants must have earned a doctoral degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and have several years of academic and/or industry experience. Alternatively, candidates with an MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering and 15 years of water resources engineering professional experience will also be considered. Candidates with a Professional Engineering (PE) license are strongly encouraged to apply, as are those with the ability to integrate computing and machine learning applications into their courses.
