At NYU, the Climate, Energy, and Risk Analytics Lab (CERA) is looking for passionate postdoc candidates starting from January 2025! Our research focuses on identifying, measuring, and managing various climate risks including floodings using complex models and ML.

The successful candidate will work on developing forecasting models and quantifying cascading socioeconomic impacts, working closely with the NYC municipal leaders to implement the models.

The lab is led by Dr. Yuki Miura who is an assistant professor in Urban Science and Mechanical Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and Volatility and Risk at NYU Stern School of Business. She serves as a member of NYC Panel on Climate Change (NPCC5).
