We at NYU's Hydrologic Systems Group are again looking for motivated students who wish to pursue a PhD within the broad field of statistical and computational hydrosciences.

While the specific research plan will be drafted after further discussions with the student, preferred applicants will have prior research experience related to (or keen interest in) some of the following topics:

probabilistic methods/stochastic processes
risk-based decision-making/uncertainty analysis
nonlinear dynamical systems
computational modeling/physics-informed machine learning
hydroclimatic hazards
