The Auburn University Department of Geosciences invites applications for a tenure-track Associate or Assistant Professor faculty position in Human-Environment Interactions (HEI), beginning fall semester 2025We seek an outstanding interdisciplinary scholar to build an innovative research and teaching program in any area of HEI to provide the capacity, disciplinary depth, and interdisciplinary broadness to examine past, present, and future environmental changes and impact of these changes on society. The successful candidate will develop interdisciplinary research and teaching with a disciplinary home in the geosciences. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work at the intersection of human and environmental systems within the broader framework of the Geosciences and Earth System Science. The Department of Geosciences at Auburn University invites applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (non-tenure track) 9- month faculty position in Geography, beginning fall semester 2025. We seek an enthusiastic scholar in Human Geography with an open specialization that is innovative in teaching and connecting with both undergraduate and graduate students. The candidate should have a demonstrated commitment to active learning and comprehensive teaching methods, experience with students from all backgrounds and a track record of fostering a welcoming classroom environment, strong capabilities in communication and organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
