4-year doctoral researcher position in thermochronology

We have a 4-year fully funded doctoral researcher position open in the Geodynamics group at the University of Helsinki starting in September 2023. The position is part of a project funded by the Research Council of Finland to quantify long-term rates of exhumation of the Fennoscandian shield using low-temperature thermochronology and inverse numerical models. The selected researcher will participate in field data collection, sample preparation for thermochronological analyses (in Canada), and data interpretation using numerical models.
