I am looking for graduate students (MS, possibility of continuing for PhD) to join my Hydrogeology research group in the Department of Geoscience at Penn State University.
The Penn State Hydrogeology Group studies: • Groundwater flow and transport • Groundwater-surface water interactions • Water resource availability • Coastal processes and hazards
There will be opportunities to develop research projects using field data (surface water, groundwater, atmospheric and geotechnical) or numerical models to understand groundwater processes in mountain, urban and coastal settings. Competitive applicants will have strong written, verbal and computational skills and an enthusiasm for water research! Past experience with programming, data analysis, environmental research or scientific writing preferred but not required.
