Faculty Search, University of Minnesota: Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, and Earth-surface Processes
University of Minnesota, Minnesota, United States
Start reviewing process: 2 January 2023

The University of Minnesota is searching for a new colleague in the broad field of Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, and Earth-surface Processes: Review of applications begins January 2nd, 2023.

This search is broad, encompassing the deep-time sedimentary record to modern-day processes and deposits; the full range of field, laboratory, theoretical, and computational approaches; and the marine realm to the terrestrial surface and cryosphere. We seek to fill this position at the assistant professor level, though higher ranks may be considered for exceptional candidates.

If you are wondering whether you might be a fit: So long as you feel that you could teach an up-to-date and relevant undergraduate course in sedimentary geology and would be interested in joining our faculty, then we want to hear about what you would bring to our department and university.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, and I look forward to seeing your applications.
