The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of New Mexico invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of Earth Surface Processes. The position is a full-time, probationary appointment leading to a tenure decision.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop a robust program of extramurally funded research, supervise and support graduate students, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels in the Earth and Planetary Science and Environmental Science curricula. Candidates from historically under-represented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.
