There is an open position for a PhD Research Fellow in Quaternary Geology and Palaeoclimate in the Department of Earth Science at the University of Bergen, Norway, to start in early 2023. The project will investigate how ice-marginal moraines formed by mountain glaciers can be interpreted as a record of both past climate and glacier dynamics. There are several possible study regions (e.g., the Himalaya, European Alps, Southern Alps, or the Andes) and the opportunity to live and work in beautiful western Norway.
