Required qualifications for the position are: 1) completion of a Ph.D. or ABD status in earth science or related field by August 22, 2022, from a regionally-accredited university or equivalent program; 2) experience in teaching, which may include teaching assistantships. Preferred qualifications are: 1) Ph.D. in earth science or related field, 2) at least one semester teaching college courses as lead instructor, 3) experience with course development, 4) experience in integrating themes of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in teaching.
