The Department of Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences at UCLA is seeking to fill an administrator position that will focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Position responsibilities will include coordinating departmental outreach efforts, coordinating initiatives to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in the geosciences at UCLA and beyond, teaching 1-2 courses per academic year, and writing proposals to support diversity and outreach activities.
Requirements for the position include a PhD in geosciences or related field and a demonstrated commitment to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion. Teaching and grant writing experience are preferred.
