There are two PhD positions available in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, in the area of Hydrology and Water Resources.

Focus Areas:
- The first project will focus on the modeling of hydrologic extremes using a wide range of datasets, models, and methods.
- The second project will be on modeling human-water interactions.
Preferred Skillset:
- Good programming skill, preferably in MATLAB/Python/R
- Strong background in statistical analyses
- Prior experience with hydrologic modeling and data processing
