Transport from Denver International Airport (DIA) to Boulder:

Upon arrival at the Denver Airport, take the train from the Concourse to the Terminal and Baggage Claim.

1. By Shuttle:
The outbound Shuttles load on Level 5 (Main Level/ Baggage Claim Level), between Doors 507 and 509, Island 5, beneath the “Special Permit” signs. This is on the East (BLUE) side of the Terminal. Door 507 is next to baggage carousel #3. We encourage reservations for the outbound service. If you have a confirmed reservation, you may proceed directly to the loading area. The Greenride booth is located inside the Terminal on Level 5 to provide walk-up ticketing or assist you in any capacity.

Although you can purchase your tickets at the Denver Airport upon arrival, it is recommended that you reserve a shuttle in advance and pre-pay online Denver Airport Greenride. For walk-up ticketing, proceed to the counter located on Level 5/Baggage Claim. Tell the counter staff your destination in Boulder and they will issue tickets and give directions to the appropriate green van loading area. For information, call 1-303-997-0238. If you arrive when the ticket counter is closed (between 12am and 6am), please use the courtesy phone located at the ticket counter to notify dispatch of your arrival. The cost of an online one-way ticket to/from Denver Airport/Boulder is about $34 (without tip).

2. By rental car:
Most rental car companies have facilities at DIA. They provide courtesy shuttle service to their facilities and have service counters located in Jeppesen Terminal, Level 5. Driving time between DIA and Boulder is approximately 60 minutes. From DIA, follow Pena Boulevard (10 miles) south to I-70, and exit onto I-70 west. Follow I-70 west to I-270 west. I-270 merges into U.S. 36 west and takes you west into Boulder (about 23 miles). This route is free. For more relaxed driving take E470 north but this route is a toll road and the cost is $6. (See map below).
Paid parking on East Campus is available on the northeast side of the SEEC building. Use the row closest to the building and follow instructions at the pay station.

3. By public bus (RTD):
To get to Denver Airport Bus Station, follow signs to the Transit Center and proceed to the south exit on level 5 (look for the large American flag), exit the terminal through the sliding glass doors and take the escalator located in the center of the plaza down to level 1. The AB will bring you to Boulder in one hour. Please obtain a skyRide route schedule for the AB https://www.rtd-denver.com/app/route/AB1-AB2/schedule or call 303.299.6000 to find the most suitable departure time for you. The cost of an one way ticket is about $9 (you will need exact change). Once in Boulder you can phone a taxi (303-777-7777) to direct you to your hotel.
